‘WHAT’S GOING ON’   Events for 2011 

June 17—19, 2011 The Canadian Vintage Motorcycle Club presents this national rally at the fairgrounds in Paris, Ontario. Participation in seminars, road runs, cavalcade of bikes, concours, trials and other displays, flea market camping, 24 hour access, coffee and donuts, door prizes, parking inside fair grounds. Registration at the gate opens noon Friday. Members: $30.00, Non-Members $40.00 Day Passes $5.00 per person (available Friday 12 AM until 8 PM and Saturday from 8 AM until 5 PM and Sunday 8 Am until 11AM. Parking in the outside lot. Access to flea market. No participation in the events).

June 24 – 26, 2011  16th Annual Airheads at the Aerodrome Campout at Dutchess County Wilcox Park, located one mile east of the Taconic Parkway on Route 199 in Milan, NY. Two nights camping with lots of shaded camping space. Clean restrooms, free hot showers, covered pavilion, swimming lake, boating and fishing lake, fields, hiking trails and many great local riding roads. All brands of motorcycles are welcome, please, NO LOUD PIPES.  Chef Karla will prepare Saturday night’s steak dinner (ONLY for pre-paid pre-registrations postmarked by 10 June 2011). There are restaurants and stores nearby for those who wish to fix their own meals. Cooking and campfires on site are permitted.  Swap meet vendor spaces are free. Cost for the weekend camping (including Saturday night dinner for the pre-registered) is only $25.00 per person, children 12 and under are admitted free. July 15—17, 2011 29th Annual AMCA Wauseon Chapter Meet  The event features a large swap meet, field events, concours judging.   Entrance to the swap meet is free to the public. Flat track vintage and antique racing on the half mile  track along with the Ohio Speedway Long Track Championship takes place on Friday afternoon beginning at 4:30 PM: Adults $15; ages 6-12, $5; 5 and under, Free. August 27-28, 2011  BMW Touring Club of Detroit Vintage Motorcycle Days BMW TCD Vintage Days. Participate in, or just come spectate at, BMW TCD's second Vintage Days event. The event is open to everyone, and there is no cost to attend or show your vintage motorcycles. This will be a non-judged show, and all brands are welcome. Free onsite camping on a first come basis. August 27—28, 2011  BMW Vintage Motorcycle Show and Campout at Champoeg State Park with camping and campfire. Bring your vintage BMW by for the day or camp with us overnight. Situated on the south bank of the Willamette River in the Willamette Valley (north of Salem, Oregon). Beautiful, historic park with extensive bicycle and walking trails. Ice Chest available. Participants to bring own drinks and food items. We can ride out for Saturday evening dinner also. Sunday is the vintage bike show from 11 AM to 4 PM.
