September 2-5 AMCA Chief Blackhawk Chapter Meet  at Davenport, Iowa  at the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds 2815 W. October 8-10 Vintage Festival at Barber Motorsport Park  Leeds, Alabama  Vintage Racing, large swap meet, air show, camping, Cameras, lawn chairs, blankets and coolers (no glass) are welcomed.  Concessions are available. Children 12 & under are free with one paying adult. Ride the tram. Trams are provided so you can move easily (and freely, it’s free) around the park. Bring on the Bikes! October 22-23 Harvest Classic European and Vintage Motorcycle Rally in Luckenbach, Texas.  This is one of the best events in the Texas Hill Country!  Everybody's somebody in Luckenbach, Texas!  Come join in the fun.  The proceeds benefit several wonderful charities.  As in years past, Saturday will feature a bike show, various motorcycle demonstrations, dinner, and a movie.  You can also enjoy many of the local roads.  Camping is available on-site or in nearby campgrounds.  For updates about the rally and registration, visit http://harvestclassic.org/.

June 7, 2009 23rd Annual Alex Silverio Memorial Picnic  at Vasona County Park  Los Gatos, CA   Join us for another picnic at the Peppertree area of the Vasona County Park with beautiful Vasona Lake as a centerpiece. We usually get 50 or more folks attending this event. Set up begins at 10am. A BBQ lunch will be offered. There will be space to sell some items that you need to clear out of your garage (please call ahead if you want to vend). July 12 Annual Woodstock Vintage Ride 2009 Join the BMW “Altimers” for a 50 mile ride through the Catskills Mountain Wilderness.  Starts at 11am at the Woodstock Lodge, Woodstock, NY, located at Route 375 and Country Club Lane.  It’s FREE!  Lunch will be served at the finish.  All bikes are welcome.  Camping and lodging is nearby for those that are interested.  Call 845-679-2051 for more info.

July 23-26 The BMW RA 2009 International Rally will tie in with the MOA rally the previous weekend.  It will be held at the Canaan Valley resort in Davis, West Virginia.   It is close to the East Coast (an easy and inexpensive trip for many), yet offers great riding and facilities. The entire State Park is being rented, resort, ski lift, etc. The resort has upgraded its facilities and built a new pavilion. July 31, August 1-2 Annual Allegheny VMCA Meet at Rue-Anne Valley, near Evans City, Pa. Fee is $25 per person, children under 12 free. NO PETS. We will again provide coffee, donuts, and bagels each morning. Corn and hot dog roast Sat. evening. Beer tap and soft drinks all weekend. August 21-23 3rd Annual Vintage BMW Motorcycle Campout at Champoeg State Heritage Park, Oregon. Situated on the south bank of the Willamette River in the Willamette Valley (north of Salem) Beautiful historic park with extensive bicycle and walking trails. Located off US 99W, 7 miles east of Newburg. From I-5 take exit 278 and head west. Follow the signs. Check in 4:00PM Friday and all day Saturday. Check out Sunday before 11:00 AM. $3 day fee if gate is manned. BBQ and ice chest available, bring your own drinks and vittles. 25 tent sites available, first come, first served. September 18-20 3rd Annual Old School Motorcycle Show and Swap Meet is sponsored by the Confederate Chapter of the AMCA.  This event is in Red Boiling Springs, TN, and is the state’s largest antique motorcycle show and swap meet.  Free parts vendor spaces and only $5 admission.  There will be a trophy show, field games, vendors, food, live music, camping, door prizes, and a few special guests.  Come help celebrate the third year opening for Cyclemos Motorcycle Museum.  Call 615-699-5049 or visit http://www.cyclemos.com for more details.

September 25-27 5th Black Diamond Beemer Annual Rally in the Poconos, located 17 miles north of Honesdale, PA on PA 191 (US Route 6 runs through Honesdale). Our rally is unique inasmuch as everyone is entitled to a bunk in a cabin (with bathrooms in every cabin) at no extra charge. Tenting is available at your option. We are happy to provide a “private” cabin to any club that pre-registers at least 8 attendees. Some of our cabins are lakefront and have nice sitting porches facing the lake. We also have a limited number of private rooms available for only $30 for the rally (per room, not per person). The food is great – we get things going with pizza and wings Friday evening. October 9-11  5th Annual Barber Vintage Festival,  AHRMA Racing.  Barber Motorsports Park, Birmingham, Alabama. The Barber Vintage Festival will also host a variety of events for spectators to enjoy including a swap meet, flea market, and vintage demos. February 26-28 Annual AMCA Event, the Sunshine Meet will be held at the Eustis Fairgrounds in Eustis, Florida.  If you are interested in old bikes, or looking for parts to build or restore an old bike, this is the only meet in the Southeast where vendors from all over the US gather before Bike Week each year!  This is a National event of the Antique Motorcycle Club of America.  The Lake County fairground is north of Eustis.  From Daytona, go west on highways 92 and 44.  It is approximately 50 miles.  Please join us for a beautiful weekend in the sun, in picturesque Lake County, Florida.  Information and maps here http://tinyurl.com/yh3bbxp.

March 21 34th Annual Vintage Motorcycle Show and Swap Meet at the O’Conner Fieldhouse in Caldwell, Idaho.  The event is on Sunday from noon to 4pm and is sponsored by the Idaho Motorcycle Club.  Bikes must be at least 20 years old to be entered in the show.  There is no fee to enter a bike in the show.  Over 150 vintage motorcycles are expected to be on display.  Spectator admission is $4; the event is family orientated.

April 16-18 6th Annual VMCA Southern Hospitality at Sturgis, Mississippi:  Bench Mark Works will host this annual event. April 17 Veterama, Vintage Motorcycle Market in Friedrich-Ebert-Halle, Ludwigshafen, Germany.  Billed as Europe's largest vintage vehicle market and technical show, the first one was in 1975. Due to the popularity of the event, there are two Veterama events - April and October. April 24-25 25th Annual BMW Flea Market and MotoExpo at the Winnebago County Fairgrounds in Pecatonica, Illinois.  Sponsored by the Blackhawk Region BMW Association, this huge indoor BMW Flea Market and exposition will be open both Saturday and Sunday.

May 2 Ride For the Record, Ride For the Cure at Montgomeryville Cycle Center, 2901 Bethlehem Pike (Rt. 309), Hatfield, PA 19440.  Attention All BMW Riders!  Please join us in our official attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the category: “Worlds Largest Parade of BMW Motorcycles”.  In addition, this will be a Charity Ride to benefit The Pediatric Cancer Center at St. Jude’s Hospital.  So, please spread the word to all your fellow BMW riding friends and join us in this worthy event.  Bob Jones, proprietor of Montgomeryville Cycle Center, has graciously offered to host this event as well as provide food, drinks, door prizes and a 15% discount on all parts and accessories.  Sign up is from 10 to 11:30am; the ride will depart at 11:45am.  Any questions call:  Todd Trumbore @ 610-287-5275 or Bob Jones @ 215-712-7433.

May 7-8 The Quail Motorcycle Gathering at the Quail Lodge in Carmel, California.  Building on the success of its automobile counterpart, The Quail Motorcycle Gathering will offer a spectacular display of classic sports and racing bikes lined up on the pristine lawn of the Driving Range at Quail Lodge Resort & Golf Club on Saturday, May 8. For those of you eager to ride their classic bike, we offer The Quail Motorcycle Tour on Friday, May 7, a fun and friendly 100-mile ride to discover the beauty of Carmel Valley and its surroundings.  More information can be found at http://www.quaillodgeevents.com/pages/home.cgi?srvid=15. 

May 14-16 1st Annual- Antique Motorcycle Club of America - Swap Meet at Denton Farm Park, North Carolina.  All vendors must be AMCA members. Only antique motorcycles and parts 35 years and older permitted for Sale. Vendor spaces are 20 x 25 for $50.  Camping w/ showers $10 a day.  RV w/  hookups $25 a day (adapter needed for electric hookups). Saturday banquet tickets are $18. June 8-11 Three Peninsulas Road Run starting from Ellsworth, ME. David Percival will be a part of this event. The run will cover the peninsulas Schoodic, Acadia, and Blue Hill. The Eagle’s Lodge Motel is the starting point for each day’s run. Approximately 100 miles will be covered each day.  This will be a self guided event, and each participant will be given a map of the day’s route. The event is limited to 1969 and earlier BMW motorcycles. Lodging at the motel is $60 per night. June 11-13 AMCA Grand National Super Meet at Dutchess County Fairgrounds, Rhinebeck, NY  (Coalition of Big Sandbar, Empire, Hudson Valley, Seaboard, and Yankee Chapters).  The Largest Motorcycle Show and Swapmeet in the USA! June 25-27 18th Annual Hocking Valley Vintage Rally at the Red Bird Ranch near Guysville, Ohio. Two night’s camping, morning coffee, Saturday home cooked meal, awards, swimming, door prizes and beautiful riding roads. June 25-27 15TH ANNUAL "AIRHEADS AT THE AERODROME" CAMPOUT Mid Hudson Valley, New York at Dutchess County Wilcox Park, located one mile east of the Taconic Parkway on Route 199 in Milan, NY.  Clean restrooms, hot showers, covered pavilion, swimming, boating and fishing lake, fields, hiking trails and many great local riding roads.  Saturday night steak dinner included in rally fee (ONLY for those whose pre-paid pre-registrations are postmarked by 15 June 2010).  Restaurants and stores are nearby.  Cooking and campfires permitted.  Special guests this weekend will be the BMW VMCA. Informal swap meet, vendor spaces no extra charge. Group ride to the Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome on Saturday afternoon. Air show admission not included in the rally fee.
