Personal Opinion

I think the R25/3 is a downright pretty bike (yeah, I know I said something like the singles being uglier than mud fences, but down deep, I was not serious with that comment).

There are still plenty of orphaned parts available, so if someone wanted to, and had the parts on hand, laying any desire for matching serial numbers aside, one could assemble an R25/3 using an R26 engine and an R25/2 transmission (because of the neat neutral finder on the right side), and retrofit an R68 or similar front fender.

MZ-B makes 12 volt alternators and electronic ignition systems for most of the singles. That opens new avenues for better lights and maybe heated grips. Tempting thoughts, eh?
