(Preamble to the Charter) "Let it be ... recognized that there exists a community of persons in America and other parts of the world who are interested in owning, operating, repairing, restoring and studying both the history of vintage BMW motorcycles and the machines themselves." "Further, there exists persons within this community who hold interests in acquiring knowledge of the people who designed, built, and raced BMW motorcycles during an historic period when these BMW motorcycles were manufactured." "It shall be the purpose of the VMCA to further the education in the community concerning vintage BMW motorcycles and to conduct programs and activities as to advance the general interest of vintage BMW motorcycles in the community" (Excerpt from Artile I) The BMW Veteran Motorcycle Club of America was founded on January 17th, 2004 with the express purpose of providing educational services, information, and assistance to those who are interested in owning, operating, repairing, restoring and studying both the history of vintage BMW motorcycles and the machines themselves. It is also the purpose of the VMCA to conduct programs and activities to advance the general interest of BMW motorcycles. We appeal to you to join us, to take part in both learning, and sharing your knowledge with others. |
