Hello Everyone, We had a fine time of it at the AMCA Meet at Rhinebeck, NY. This is really a huge event. There was enough stuff floating around the swap meet to impress the most skeptic Beemerphile. |

July 12 Annual Woodstock Vintage Ride 2009 Join the BMW “Altimers” for a 50 mile ride through the Catskills Mountain Wilderness. Starts at 11am at the Woodstock Lodge, Woodstock, NY, located at Route 375 and Country Club Lane. It’s FREE! Lunch will be served at the finish. All bikes are welcome. Camping and lodging is nearby for those that are interested. Call 845-679-2051 for more info. July 17-19 Antique Motorcycle Flat Tracking Racing and Swap Meet at Wauseon, OH. Held at the Fulton County Fairgrounds, The AMCA National Meet will be held at the Fulton County Fairgrounds during the national meet. Ten classes of antique motorcycle races are scheduled. For more information, visit http://bikedays.com/_wsn/page2.html July 16-19 The BMW MOA 2009 International Rally will be located in Gray, TN - about 10 miles from Johnson City (Gray is small) at the Appalachian Fair grounds. It will be held at the Canaan Valley resort in Davis, West Virginia. It is close to the East Coast (an easy and inexpensive trip for many), yet offers great riding and facilities. The entire State Park is being rented, resort, ski lift, etc. The resort has upgraded its facilities and built a new pavilion. The latest information about the rally is at http://www.bmwra.org/rally/ July 31, August 1-2 Annual Allegheny VMCA Meet at Rue-Anne Valley, near Evans City, Pa. Fee is $25 per person, children under 12 free. NO PETS. We will again provide coffee, donuts, and bagels each morning. Corn and hot dog roast Sat. evening. Beer tap and soft drinks all weekend. (click image to view as wallpaper size) You couldn't ask for a nicer setting for a vintage BMW rally than on a collector's beautiful wooded riverside grounds in Sturgis MIssissippi. And if that collector happened to be one of the country's leading restorers and repairmen of vintage BMW's, with shop and museum onsite, then you have the makings of a world-class event indeed. And so it was, this April 2009.
